•     Anticipate their audience reaction to a message
•     Use complex strategies like indirect influence to build consensus and support
•     Manage events to effectively make a point.
•     Are strong at building rapport and solid relationships.

Influence is managed not only with logical arguments but also on an emotional level - known as impression management.  A top performer will usually have solid arguments and actions and will build behind-the-scenes support

Empathy is crucial for wielding influence, you can only have a positive impact on others if you sense how they feel and understand their position and their perspective.

Overcome Procrastination

We have been discussing the different causes that can make us fail; as mentioned in our previous blogs the inability of getting along with other people and quitting are 2 of the 3 causes of failure.

Procrastination is the 3rd. most common cause of failure.

Be always in touch with your definite purpose so you may discern quickly when a great opportunity presents itself.

Once a great opportunity presents itself you will be able to recognize it at such – be decisive and take immediate action !

Always remember, the worst decision is making no decision at all. If you know that the opportunity represents part of your definitive purpose, don’t allow self-doubt to stop you.

The greatest achievers are those who seize opportunities when they present themselves. These are individual who do not have self-doubt, but-self-confidence.

Have the confidence that is needed to take on a job or an assignment that may seem overwhelming at first.
